I publish my cell number and get a telemarketer at least every hour. I have a call blocker, but I hate it.
Can anyone recommend a good one?

Are you currently using this?

If you are then here are some alternatives:

Why does it matter what phone I have, what country I'm in and/or what service I have?
Have you used any of these call blockers? I've tried at least 5 and they are all bad.
What makes these any different?
Are they free? Did you pay for them? What did you think of them when you used them?

Which features do they have that you liked? What didn't you like about them? Which of the 3 did you prefer, and why?

The "metro block it" was a POS. So were the next 4 call blocking softwares I installed. 2 of them were from the "app store" and I think the ratings for those crappy android apps are as fake as those from the iphone store. dozens of chinese slave laborers agree that these apps are something that they are paid to like.

Mr number works fine here, I use that one myself granted, I don't get much spam calls every hour on that number like you do.

Keep in mind, for any of these blockers, the call still has to hit your cell phone and the app needs to be running in the background to "catch" it. Your phone may still ring briefly while this is happening. Or if android shuts the service down (sleeping, idle etc...) to save battery, the app needs to start the service then snatch the call adding more delay.

Best caller blocker for a mobile phone is to use another service like google voice or other VoIP service to filter calls, then forward to your cell.

Any well most call blockers will work that is in the google play store. I have used lots of them and never had a problem. Also submit your number to the do not call registry and they will stop calling

Telemarketers change up their numbers alot so you will have to keep blocking or what you can do is create a whitelist which you only add your contacts in and any other calls will be blocked

this one is a good one. Its social based

Thanks I've learned a bit. That's not the issue. The issue is that some blockers do not "catch" the call at all. You have to manually go back to the log and add it to a blacklist. The one I have now only appears after I've answered the call, which is better, but still stupid.

I want the call blocker window up and available while the telemarketing asshole is ringing my phone, and I want a default action so all I have to do is press a single button and the phone does the default action to the call and it's number. The one I have now makes me press several buttons and specify what I want done to each and ever call, each and every time, and refuses to do anything else. It also puts my white list numbers on the blacklist, screws up the volume settings so that my white list calls done get MAX volume like I want.

It's a piece of trash, this app. You'd think for as common a problem as it is, there's be some kind of .exe file running in the background connecting to the call blocking "mothership" compiling a big-ass list of blocked numbers and sharing it with everyone so that "we" decide to block all of "them", but no, I get the same 4 or 5 robocallers using a different number every day and it takes 4 clicks to program each and every one of them to be on the blacklist.

It's stupid. I want the number of an app developer so I can call him and complain. Every 15 minutes. I want to start a website so that people can Dox Telemarketers like "mugshots.org" or whatever. I believe that the carrier of the telemarketer should be find $100 per violation and that money should be automatically credited to my account, and then make the telemarketer's phone service provider have to collect it from it's customer. That would put a stop to this shit right quick.

I use StitMe to block anonymous communication and spam call blocking guard with instant message, chat messenger and free Voice Call. You can search int on your iTunes or google play

Hopefully it will be better thing for your issue.
