Recommend project/Customer management

i have a ton of clients and all I'm looking for is a simple piece of software that can let me update what stage each client is at AND set reminders that are either emailed or desktop based.

I really like Streak, which integrates with gmail, and I'm really looking for a desktop alternative to that.

What are you guys using?
