recommend me an email signup wordpress plugin

Is there a decent wordpress widget that i can use easily, i've never captured emails on a site before.

I highly recommend the plug-in, opt-in monster. This is not a free plug-in though but worth the investment. Hope that helps

For the most basic signup form, i'm using "MailChimp for Wordpress Lite". It's very easy to install and setup, and free. You sign up with MailChimp to organize your mailing list (also free up untill a few thousand subscribers).
