Recommend me a light weight video editor

I use camtasia, proshowproducer and they need to much of my resources.

Movie maker from windows is nice, but doesn't support .mov files and others.

so, I need a simple light weight video editor that accepts videos and images. No need of fancy 'transition effects' as I can make those or import.

Probably best to get a video converter to convert the .mov in .avi format!!

Yea I would also use that ( Total video converter for that)

or

You can Try
some Early versions of Pinnacle Studio.
that is one of best software available.

Converting more than 10GB from move to avi... and there are around of 100 .mov files

You can try the earlier sony vegas versions

I've used media espresso and its a great program. It supports a gpu if you have one,to convert even faster.
