Hello everyone,

can you recommend me free hosting offering subdomain.hostingcompany.com

There were ton's of such companies, but now I can't seem to find any...

VERY important parts for this hosting companies are:
- that they offer subdomain.hostingcompany.com
- FTP access
- allow HTML files

That's about all. I don't care about ads and stuff, just about this...

Please let me know if you have recommendations for me.

Thank you!

P.S.: Please don't say like, you can purchase hosting for $2 and stuff, I own hosting, have vps and regular hosting, I need this for other purpose. :)

Do a google search and you will find one. I recommend to go with paid :)

zymic.com offers 6 GB space and 50 GB bandwidth, byethost offers 5.5 GB and 200 GB bandwidth with other usual stuff and fantastico like installer.

Tnx for that... :)
Where I can find manual for using Google? :P :D

I just wanted to make long story short and see if someone has experience with good free hosting provider...

Ok for paid ones, is there a PAID hosting provider that allows mysubdomain.paidhostingprovider.com ?

I'm in for that as well if someone knows any, please recommend it to me... :)

Thank you!

i don't know if i should do it here but... SORRY

Iget get you a free one on my account, 1 month, if you like it, you pay...

fair?

@srb888
LOL Please send me download link for both if you have them! LOL

@kazhkaz
Yup. Just what I was looking for! You've read my mind, they even allow 5 subdomains per account. :)

I used orangeserve back in the day to do my development. It has ads and goes down often but when its up its fast and basically unlimited everything so no worries there.

Don't know if they are still around. Seems like alot of these free hosts show up and disappear quick.

I've used 50webs, atspace (still alive), adwardspace and stuff, but most of them are gone... I mean they are alive but not giving free subdomain, and for this project they are useless in that case. :)

You know, I've tried to look on DMOZ for free host, I've figured out there is category and it will be all true what's written there, but I was surprised when I've noticed that like 80% of information is inaccurate!

Btw orangeserver is still alive and I'm going to test it as well right away! Tnx! :)

EDIT:
LOL not very alive http://signup.orangeserve.co/order/?pkg=1
Thank you anyway. :)

Hope you got the one you wanted! Good Luck!

Re: Link ... Sorry but couldn't resist to do this...:)
Last of the many more options:
I have both... Do you want the "c:\" type link or the "http://" type? ;)

Anyway, Good Luck to you! Prosper A Lot!

@srb888
Thank you man! :) :) :)

Regarding links for google manual, please send me "c:\" type of link, it will be easier to download from... :D
