Recieved a scam check?

Hey so I applied for some kinda job on craigslist, 2 weeks later I get a $1,575 check in the mail, looks legit as hell and is printed out to be real. But I go to walmart to cash it and it doesnt read. Anyway possible i coud cash it somewhere and get away with it? lol Its a scam check.

So although you know it's a forged check/cheque, you still want to try to cash it ?

even if you do manage to successfully cash it, bank will revoke the funds a few days later & charge you a nice fee for the bullshit you tried. its a well known scam. you might be unlucky enough to get authorities visit you & investigate what you are trying to do.

or dont listen to us and learn a lesson the hard way.

I am fully aware of that. Thats why I am asking if there is a way around that, like at a check cashing place or something.

Its a fake check I also have recieved one in 2015 after applying for a position. Remember anything that seems too good to be true must be fake.

Just send the check to another scammer ahahah

there's probably 20+ locations you can visit.
but i don't recommend it. throw the fake check in the trash & move on.

It's not like a check cashing place would accept it. A business based around cashing checks from questionable people is going to verify the funds before they send you money.

"Oh I got sent it for no reason from some person I dont know and have never done anything for, figured it was my lucky day" I assume you have a bank account, If this turns into a police matter which it could very well do, they will probably ask questions like why didn't you cash this at your bank. What are you going to say... "I thought it was fake so i didn't want to go to my bank"

You're not a retard you're just a human being. One that has not been around the block with regards to this issue it seems. So dont fall victim to typical human emotions like greed and take everyone's advice and just put it in the trash.
