Hey guys, I have a question about what I might have notice on ebay. I don?t know if it?s true or not, but I would like hear some opinions from experimented ebay sellers too.
So I notice this:
(1)every time I get a few recent feedbacks/ratings from users, I make 2-3 more sale in the same day. Is very hard to explain it, but I was not able to ship from 25 December to 7 January, and guess want happened around 15-JAN-25JAN ? Yeah, No sales! Around 26-27 I got a few feedbacks, and boom a few sales when I got them. The like 10-20 more sales when all my packages arrived to the buyers and they gave me the feedback.
(2) Because of no sales, around 22JAN I made some auctions. They had those 5000 free auction listing. I posted 50 items for sales. Law value. I made an 5-6$ profit/item. Items sellings for around 5-10$ each! After 1 week I resubmitted the items at the same starting time, but my items didn?t get yet to the seller. Guess what happened? My auctions ended today ? and even if all of them were 7 days (like the last ones) and ending at the same time as the last ones? I ended up hardly getting an 1$ profit, selling at 2-3$ each. I was not getting any feedbacks from my auctions last time.
What the ?. ? So it seems that recent ratings count more/along with your overall rating? Does anybody have any article about this thing? I was it?s something ebay do to prevent fraud or selling bad stuff to buyers?
