Recent increase in engagement...anyone else experiencing this?

Within the past couple of days, my engagement has gone up 2.5x. Anyone else seeing this?

Over the past few months, IG has throttled my reach/engagement and it's gotten cut in a third. Recently it's gone back to where it was before in terms of likes but the comments are still low. Seems like IG is still playing with their algorithm. Anyone else have this happen to them?

most are complaining about a drop ..... i don't see any change on my accounts

I see spikes as described by the author. But not every day.

No drastic increase on any of the accounts that I handle. My accounts did get hit a few months back, but have not reached a higher percentage of engagement yet. I've gotten them up to where they used to be, but that is through hard work and testing.
It sucks to be on the low end of Instagram.

I've gotten hit massively the last week! Huge drops in new followers/engagement.. Sigh.

I am getting 50% less likes nowdays. Since my feed is no longer in chronological order, it's the only explanation I can think of.

I don't think it's explore. This is the fifth day of increased engagement. My likes are about 2.0-2.5x more than what I used to get. (Keep in mind, my engagement is still lower than when IG changed the algorithm...but it's getting back to where it used to be a month or so ago.)
