Recent Crypto Price Increases

Hi there,

I'm new to cryptocurrencies but would like to learn and invest in some coins.

Obviously, I'm well aware that this is a very risky investment, so will only be investing what I can afford to lose. At the same time, risky investment brings the largest rewards, which is what we're all here for I'm guessing!

Now, I've been checking out the charts for a lot of different shares just to get a feel for things. One thing I noticed is that almost every currency has enjoyed huge growth recently. Within the last month or two, plenty of them have increased in USD value by 10-20x. These numbers are eye-watering!

When markets surge like that, a retrace is inevitable. Many of these currencies have since dropped back down by quite a lot. Perhaps a 50%-75% drop.

That means that the coins are still around 5x more expensive than I could have got a month or two ago. Yes, these currencies have growth potential, but it's difficult to buy something when I know how much profit I've missed out on! In other words, I worry I missed the boat.

So I'm wondering, where is the best place to find out about more speculative shares that haven't had their growth explosion yet?

Or if anyone has any tips, I'd be very appreciative!

Nobody can know for a fact if a coin will explode, eg dubaicoin, nobody expected it to 20x its value in 2 weeks... the best option is to look around for coins which aren't mentioned alot and are listed on very few exchanges but have potential for more, eg veritaseum... also keep track of the news via reddit, twitter and crypto forums

Thanks for your response. Even the coin you mention, veritaseum, has more than doubled in value over the last few days! It feels like there are so many great opportunities out there and I keep missing the boat!

Find an ICO that is backed by a good team and sell when the token hits the exchange. What I've been doing is this exact model but then I hold 40% of the tokens for a bit longer and it usually goes up another 20-100%.
