These blocks and comment shadow bans started happening 2 days ago for me
It's not being blocked. It's showing as if it went through, but the comment is not visible from other accounts. Sounds more like a comment shadowban than a blocked action to me.

Next time you guys start posting about IG problems check if IG have some real problems. Just relax, wait for no reports on downdetector and similar sites, than check if you can comment etc.

Next time you comment on a thread you should read through all the comments - I have been experiencing this issue days before Instagram had outages today.

That is comment shadow ban, let your account fully rest for 24 hrs and try again
