I need to invoice a US customer for a job I've just done, however my Australian PayPal has been locked until I can prove my identity with birth certificates, passpots, drivers licenses etc. Problem is, I'm not going to be back in Australia for 3 months.

What's the easiest way for me to accept money and direct it to my Australian bank account?

You don't have a single form of ID on you that you can send?

Someone's either hiding the real reason for the post, or are very silly travelers.

you should have a passport with you right? how many ids does paypal asks?

They ask for 3, IIRC. I have ID on me, but they need proof of address. I have no fixed address, I've been backpacking SE Asia for nearly a year now.

I just need a solution that will allow me to accept $400 USD while I figure out a way to register a business in a country that won't take loads of tax off me.

Double post d'oh:

I've been backpacking Asia with no fixed address, PayPal wants me to prove my address in addition to my identity.

I'm jack of them anyway with the amount of times they've locked my account. Also, I think they're trying to get my details now to lodge to the Australian tax department.

So is there an alternative to PayPal where I can just get someone to easily transfer money from a US business banking account or credit card without too much fuss on their behalf?

I guess I'll ask if he can just deposit to my bank account in Australia then, I hope it's not too much of a hassle for him.
