Received My First Check From Google In The Mail Today!

And made my first sale on Amazon! Still in shock as I was on pins and needles these past few weeks because I may have posted some borderline 'racy' content and may have had some referral links that raised a few flags.

I'd just like to thank this wonderful community that I read here at least ONCE a day. Without you guys help, I don't know if I would have made it THIS far.

I'm looking to monetize my website in a few other ways because I know google can be bipolar...BUT IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!

I've been "building for authority" these past few months, and it's definitely paid off. Don't ever give up. If you can see a clear path, just do the necessary things to get it done because this game is a procrastination/time management thing at best. Thanks again!

Just congratulate the guy and movie on mate, if he want to tell you about the about he would have said that earlier in his post. THe amount is not a problem. the fact is that he got his first check.

I think he mean that he got the check the same day as he made hes first sale on Amazon.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Even the dude who asked how much it was. I guess I'd have questions too if I was on the other end.

But I think IF you are just starting out like me, just put together a site about something you love, then figure out how to monetize it.

Why? Because your views and content will definitely be unique to your niche if you know it from front to back, AND you'll know how to target potential buyers because YOU ARE/WERE ONE YOURSELF. It should be a community you already belong to, so it'll be easier to pass on to "friends"...then more than likely they'll pass it on, and before you know it, you have 'natural' social signals, backlinks, etc.

In my opinion, EVERYTHING CAN BE MONETIZED. Think about that 'something you love'. I'm sure, whether intangible or tangible, you've dropped currency to obtain it or get to it. Figure out how you can get in the middle of that love, and a transaction, then you are gold.

Then once you have that down, try and scale it up in another niche you know a little about...then submerse yourself in something that's completely foreign to you to measure how good you really are at internet marketing. The SEO traffic aka organic visitors will come if you are decent with your on-site/off-site stuff.

Well coming from me, the "scaling up" part is all theory, but this is what I plan to do. Obviously the first part worked out in my favor, hopefully the next 3 months will allow me to create more sites.
