As title says, which is the best Elementor Template for a magazine kind website.
Do you prefer Elementor or Gutenberg ?

I like more customization, I find the element used a lot for the website but it is quite heavy

Check "Read" template in Site Library on GeneratePress's site.
I'm using it on all my news-type sites and it works great. If you have basic knowledge of how WP works you can customize it even further.

Bad performance as in ?
As in "everything fresh works better".

Just look at the trend. Asana replaced Trello. ClickUp replaced Asana; Rock replaced Slack, etc, etc.
Fresh is not always better, stick to what works the best for you.
Also, remember that most of the people and "designers/developers" using WP are actually newbies, knowing nothing about WP core and/or optimization.

@Kenobii I am not a technical person but comparing the core business website is not the end decision. I have lots of websites built in Elementor with a top score in terms of speed optimization. I heard that Elementor is bloated with other things which I am not aware of. But I am happy with Elementor so far.

@El Professor elementor itself has a magazine template. Check it out here - https://library.elementor.com/magazine/.

Hi,
I have been using Divi builder for 1 year and made over 50 websites.
Divi theme its bad optimized when comes to page speed, but in time i have discovered that , wp pagebuilder frameword theme works well with divi and the pagespeed increases significally (you will need wp-rocket or other optimizer plugin)

So, now my subscription expired and i have purchased Astra and using free elementor. I can say that i have 98/99 speed on mobile and desktop (wp rocket) , and i have a cheappy host.
I can say that elementor its more faster in everything. I can build faster blocks, elements, headings and manny more , with elementor rather than divi. Am i wrong?

When you enable the divi builder, and you have so much things on the page to edit, my i5 4590 and 8gb ram is kinda slow for divi editor.
But with elementor, its really good when comes to editing.

Indeed elementor its more expensive.
Question: If i purchase elementor ESSENTIAL 49$ Plan for 1 Pro Website, can i use that for more than 1 websites? I mean, i will create a website with that 1 plan and afer finishing the website i will just transfer to the next website and so on. I understand that i cannot edit anymore the first website after transfering elementor license , but it is possible to create a infinite websites like this ?

And for a few days, i am reading about oxygen builder and i find it a bit harder to work with, compared to elementor or divi. I heard that its more proffesional and light weight, but you need to know css or javascript to make some cool designs, am i wright ?

I think that can be done, just have to make sure not to update Elementor plug-ins.

Also, they are running a 50% sale right now, so you might want to look into that.

Nice one with the 50% off. A year ago the 1000sites plan was 200usd and now is 500$ reduced from 1000$ ? This is a nice joke. I will reply after one month to see if it will be same price 1000$ for 1000 sites....

I second that , you can't compare the homepage and make a decision. As the saying goes you can't judge a book by its cover.
Also the magazine templates looks pretty good, high quality. It's new one, I missed.

Having said that elementor does got a speed problem.
Here's that magazine site's gtmetrix, may be because it's a blog homepage, may be its first load, but its not looking good:

True dat. They became a large company too fast, obviously they will try to milk it. That's why I moved to Oxygen Builder.

Also, Gutenberg is not bad at all if you get the hang of it.
