Not really mad about this, or really irritated. Use to getting these type of comments on blogs.

Are they hoping some random person can understand what all those random letters mean, let alone trust to click the URL?

hehe, lol. maybe they are using some automation tool to post comments and yes there are people who would still click those links :D :p

Please don't tell me this comes as any surprise? That's probably what my blog comment dashboards have looked like ever since there was a blog.
 
Unfortunately there are far too many idiots in the world, and this is what they think is "SEO" when they spam with GSA and Xrumer. Then they wonder why they don't make any money.

That's the main problem with some marketers who complain. I see threads where folks say "I bought xrumer and I can't make money". Well yeah my friend if your username looks like a MD5 hash and your comments are in english but read like dutch then yeah you won't be making any $$$$ at all.

I used to get 100s of comments such as this.
and people are mostly doing it for the sake of backlinking i think.
or else i see no point of such comments.

I later turned off the comments.
this kind of thing is shit.

Haha wake up to about 30 of those daily. Without akismet it'd be 400.
 
They use this to scrape AA blog list.

When they find the link that they post using "spam" words or keywords. It must be an AA blog.

This is probably just another FAIL SEO attempt. Just delete and move on, they will gain nothing from you. :)
 
Listen, I have a very explicit sex blog that I write as a diary and I swear I have 5-50 of the same spam comments about purchasing Ugg boots, NFL jerseys, and watches every single day on THE SAME POST! lol I don't know why they haven't given up after months of never having a single comment ever actually published...
 
This is just some spam, you got to deal with it. All of my WordPress panels look identical to this. There are plenty of plugins to cut down on this crap, though.
 
They are trying to verify if their post will go live. In a week or so, they do a search for that domain or nonsense post, and if they find on GYM, it means your blog is not well configured to filter spam, and then they take advantage of that and start bombarding you with real links, and posts.
 
I just delete every single comment, no point in even publishing comments.
 
Just realized there is a plugin that is called 'Captcha'.... A friend thought of that in like 10 seconds...

I wouldn't say that, but I do understand the annoyance of the matter.
Google is always changing their algo so who knows, one day they'll say comments are required. Always be prepared!

I had those mounting up and in few months i had literary millions of them on my blog network
then i searched delete comments in plugins, and found this
"Delete Pending Comments
by Nicolas Kuttler"
One click job and all comments go pew pew
Then i closed comments
