Hey all,

This may be stupid, but I thought I would ask for your opinion anyway. I really hate bulk mail in my real physical mailing address. So much so that I want to make bulk mailers pay. I started this thing where I would take their envelopes that they include and then mail back the bulk mail to them with their (postage paid by recipient) envelopes. Instead of doing that, do you think it would be slightly adventageous to see what type of response I'd get if I sent them an ad starting out with "Tired of opening envelopes....?" If not monetarily, for entertainment purposes? The main reason I'm asking is because this probably isn't an original idea and I'm sure someone here has tried something like that just for shits and giggles.

I cannot recommend GreenDimes enough.

I used to work for Royal Mail hunting down people who either did not pay for the stamp or did something along the lines of what you have suggested.

Thanks guys, I had no idea... I just thought it would be fun. Bad idea.

I'd mail their junk back to them in their envelope, but I wouldn't put anything of mine in the letter.

An old revenge trick (that doesn't work as well today) is to tape the envelope to a box filled with rocks and mail it back to the sender.
