Really quick indexed and ranked, lucky?

I got a subkeyword which i copied an article about from a different site, didnt change anything. I put a pic up with it gave it some description and stuff and then posted it.

5 min later i check in google and it was indexed at the 6th place in google. the cpc is like e5 and it has 500 exact

Some sites get an artificial bump while they're new, then settle to where they should be algorithmically.

But on a 500 exact, a new site could definitely retain it's original rankings and keep improving. How is the top 10 competition?

The exact match is so low on that the competition is pretty weak. So you could probably stay there with minimum work.

Yeah like above make sure your viewing the correct rankings with private mode or incognito. Not much watch volume probably not that much competition. Don't be surprised if your site starts to dance though.

Its good that your site rank faster but don't get excited and improve your site as much as possible so that it remain on the first page of Google.

Google likes to push fresh pages to the top, so there is a honeymoon period for a new page. If you are wanting to keep it there and make it rise you will have to work on it.

Ok, no the competition is not so hard. I will test this, I have not done anything on this site except for copying articles. It's actually just copy paste post.

My main keyword is ranking 5th and 2 sub keywords are ranking 2 and 6th now. Funny how google is ranking it so high with just doing nothing till now.

Same happened with me a few months back, made simple site with 3 articles and didnt do anythin else, a day later it was on 5th. Page of google. Now i decided to update layout, add 4 more articles, did a sitemap, back linked a lil, installed webmaster tools and now its not even indexed :s its frustrating

Simple explanation: New content usually ranks higher in google or could be some kinda google dance..... but i suggest keep building quality backlinks if you wanna retain the rankings for a long period of time
