Really desperate newbie here..

for me choose 1 menthod and try to know how its work, its maybe take a time but its worth after you know what your doing. if you confused or get problem try using google and youtube to found out the solution, but you need to pick 1 menthod first and doing consitently. i still remember my first month only get like 2$ hahaha. just try it even you fail nothing bad happen to you :)

i know there are tons of methods out there but all i know is instagram.. well at least you got your $2 :) i will not give up. thank you for your advice

I started by writing on a .blogspot.com domain about anything I felt like writing about. It was easier to get Adsense approved back then. They basically accepted everyone. After months of not making money, I started learning about keyword research and that was when things started to pick up. I started seeing pennies and nickels roll in every few days and I made an important realization. Most people would have given up but I realized that I will be earning these pennies and nickels indefinitely. All I need to do is scale this like crazy.

So, I started scaling (writing way more content constantly). The money grew, but not the way I had hoped. That's when I realized that finding keywords people were searching for wasn't enough. You needed to find keywords that people were searching for, but I could also rank for (low competition). I then spent the money I had earned to get some tools to help me out with all of this. Your time is your most valuable asset. Once you have enough money to cover what you need to cover, use some of the leftover for savings and the other money to buy good tools and hire help.

I went through a natural learning process which allowed me to grow. That's the problem with using "systems" and "methods." Often, they let you skip the learning part which is what teaches you why something works. More dangerously, they give you something to blame other than yourself which is actually very demotivating. It makes online marketing look like voodoo that only runs on luck and when you fail "it just wasn't meant to be." Don't take shortcuts. Learn this business and grow with it (it's always changing). Don't believe what someone on this forum says. Test it for yourself.

But my best advice is to get yourself stable first, especially if you have people depending on you like spouse or kids. If you're single, then by all means, do whatever you want, dive in as deep as you want and come out on top. If I were single with no kids and I started out again, I would have moved into a storage unit or lived in my car and thrown every penny I had at learning and scaling. I just found internet marketing a few years too late to do things that way. And in all fairness, I probably wouldn't have the family I have right now, which makes my long journey worth it.

i know people trying to scale blogspot.com or facebook or instagram to earn money. but what if you have scale up your blog or sns account? what next? i dont know what Adsense is or how it works. for me right now, a penny or a nickel would be satisfying. because i know i will not give up until i scale things up and make it into a dollar and so forth just like you. i am currently doing part time job but i know this job wouldnt last forever. thats why i want to learn online business and make money everyday forever. I just started making instagram account and dont know where and how to go to next step. I hope you and your family is doing fine and hope everything is okay for you :)

let me tell you one thing, that is the best advice anyone can get. if you go after the niche you love, you don't need to spend big bucks on contents, everything gets easier.
All you gotta do to earn online is write ;) , but how much you earn depends totally on what you write.
conclusion : you can write better about things you love

i mean how do i get paid by writing about things i love? who and how much are they going to pay me?
i just started instagram and i dont know where and how to go from here :(

my journey is a lot like yours starting off. joined bhw. tried dozens of methods. didn't earn jack for first few years. eventually one of those methods made me my first big goal of $100/day. quit my day job soon after. lesson here is don't give up.

all those methods you try, all those things you learn along the way, add up to knowledge you can apply to the future.

the money [usually] isn't in duplicating a method you read on bhw. it's in twisting it to something unique. as a beginner you have no clue what to twist it to. but over enough time and enough methods you'll have a thought: "maybe i can apply this to the last thing i tried". eventually you're coming up with methods all by yourself. at this level it's about taking action on several methods, seeing what earns well, scaling up the winners and ditching the failures.

List down all your skills ex: writing, designing etc. if there's none, check out the highest performing gigs on fiverr start learning those things. There are plenty of resources available of BHW, youtube etc.
Next step is start your service on fiverr start promoting it on BHW (the legal way ofcourse) just like I did few days back. You won't get rich overnight but it should be a nice start. I won't reveal how much but i've already made fair amount of money since I started my marketplace thread 2 weeks ago (atleast i've managed to cover the initial setup cost and some other expenses). People often suggest affiliate marketing or other similar methods of making money, skipping the fact that these methods usually require considerable amount of investment (on monthly basis) which can be too much for a newbie.
Once you start generating some money, reach out for other methods. :)

Edit: Learn from your failures, but don't give up. Back in 2013, it took me 6 months to earn my first $5.

Ive read some answers in that thread and also some of your comments, and what I see is that you are new to the world of I internet marketing,

so... what I suggest is learn the basics, because everything is basics, ...with those basics you can develop a skill...

so when you feel the need to start a website, a social media business or anything, you can do it easily

do not look for methods...develop skills and keep learning, ...then sure money will come

good luck,

Adsense is Google's display ad program. If you go to a website and see advertisements in the content, that is usually Google Adsense, or something similar by a competitor. I'm not a proponent of building blogs on other people's platforms (like blogspot) because you don't truly own your content. I just started there because I didn't know any better. I'm glad you have an income. Use it to keep yourself afloat while you learn.

At the moment, I know nothing about Instagram marketing. My focus has mainly been in display advertising and affiliate marketing. I won't tell you one way is better than another, those are just the areas I fell into when I started. I've also had pretty good success making my own products like niche relevant eBooks and selling them through my sites. What you need to do is figure out what you want to do to make money.

If you think you want to make money from social media marketing, then dive head first into everything you can read about social media marketing. There are a ton of "my journey" threads with some good screenshots and tips on what they've learned. Making money from display ads is a long slog because you need to build the content, but once you do the work, it's relatively hands off.

If you learn some online marketing skills, then selling services will probably net you the quickest income, but the problem is that you only make money when you're doing something. It might be the best way for you to transition to online work though. Figure out what you want to do and start learning. Don't try to learn about everything at once, just because there is too much to learn. For example, making money with Adsense can take a long time because you have to learn keyword research, building blogs, writing content, onpage seo and link building. Each of those things take a while. If you aren't truly interested in making your money that way, then don't waste your time learning that stuff right now. It's worth learning eventually, but wait until you're succeeding with something else you actually want to do.

Heck, if you succeed well enough, you may not have to learn that stuff, you can just outsource it to someone else. Good luck to you man. Just be wise with every penny you spend, and don't let anyone hard sell you. You are in control of every decision you make. Take peoples' advice into account, but make your own decisions. Sorry for the book, I just remember when I started out and wanted to give some pointers where possible.

By the way, my family is doing well, thank you. We got some great news today. :-D

Let your desperation be the source of motivation and determination, that could help you read away here on the site and decide what you want :)

I cant imagine how much effort and time you must've put in. i hope i can make $10/day for now first and scale it up by twisting things up. i will not give up until i make $10/day and $100/day and so on.
For now what are the methods? CPA? CPI?
thank you for your advice i really appreciate it Mr uncutu

Hi Mr USA282, thank you for your advice
first of all when you mention i should start my service on fiverr and promote it on BHW, does it mean like " could work simple task all night" or " could translate english to chinese " etc?

i dont think there is something that can make someone rich overnight because if there is such a thing everybody would be rich already :) but i am curious on the method you told me in depth. i hope i can make fair amount of money with the method you told me about promoting my service on fiverr to BHW. i would like to know more in detail.

i respect your consistency and mind-control!

i have been in BHW for a while but i just dont understand what other people are saying. its like if i need to know something i should know other things to know something and so on.

so where can i learn the basics?

Online marketing isnt for everyone some of us are naturals while others become so through hard work and persistences. I recommend you try and find a source of income from something your passionate about my friend because no one here is going to hold your hand.

After your comment, i went through the internet about Adsense and it seems like you earn $ when people look or click on the banner or ads that you post it on blog or any other websites.

I believe there are tons of methods out there on making money online, but for me right now instagram is more familiar than other methods because it is easy to use. i wonder what affiliate marketing is. i think i've heard of it before.

i really appreciate your advice and lucks :) i should look through the forum even more and catch something reliable.

I hope you have great news everyday Mr seo :)

what is the value of being naturals in online marketing? major in IT? learn trends?

Right dude going to be real.

There's alot of solid advice on here and @seo's is so fair.

I'm in the same sort of position as you. 19. Work in a retail store. Hate it. Trying to get this up and running so I can somewhat enjoy working and not hate my existence.

I study marketing in college so I have a natural interest in this stuff - as someone else elegantly pointed out, this stuff isn't for everyone.

Everyone (myself included) just heard the term "oh I work online from home making £/$/€x K per month and think OH BOY THAT'S SOME SWEET BANK I'M GOING TO MAKE A SITE AND MAKE THAT BANK.

What you fail to realise is that the reason they're making that bank is because of the COUNTLESS hours put in researching, testing, experimenting, talking to people, developing skills etc etc. If you were to work it out I'm sure alot of the people on here making money were working WAY for below minimum wage when taking into consideration how much time was invested into things.

Now look im not hating or being a prick I'm just saying this game isn't for everyone. Heck I don't even know if its for me yet. But not everyone can be good at everything.

Quick example I can think of is my parents. My mother is a great cook and it came to her naturally. She can whip up a great meal at a moments notice and with planning a meal she would put restaurants to shame.
My father however, if he was told he had to make a perfect meal or he'd be killed, he'd opt to make toast - and probably still burn it. On the flip side however, that man can do amazing things to cars. Things I didn't even think we're possible.
So basically if my father needs food, he would ask my mother. If my mother needed her car fixed she would ask my father.

See what I'm getting at?

I think honestly you need to give it a try. Anything. See do you like waking up to no exposure and low low rates for weeks on end until one day you'll get a sale or a hit and make a few bucks and be over the moon.

You just have to have a look at yourself and identify your strengths and play to them.

There's nothing wrong with not being a digital marketer and heck even if it doesn't come to you straight away but still putting in the grind - fair play to you, if I didn't like something I couldn't stick with it.

But for some people things come easier than others, and sometimes you need to realise when to accept that rather than fight it.

Plenty of great advice here and perfect for a beginner like me. I take it that different solutions for each and everyone and that success favors the persistent are the common themes. Lovely group of members!

Well there you go then. Sounds like Instagram is the place you want to start. Affiliate marketing is promoting someone else's product and getting a commission when it sells. Instagram seems to be mostly CPA offers, meaning "Cost Per Action." Such as someone signing up for a trial, downloading an app, etc. Here is a great article for learning about CPA: http://backlinko.com/cpa-marketing I would also suggest reading a recent thread about someone getting their Instagram account with 1.2 million followers banned so you understand the risks involved in what you want to do: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/instagram-1-2m-disabled-account.903985/

This thread seems to have some pretty good followup from the OP on his journey to making money with Instagram: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a-young-lads-jouney-to-xxx-day-with-instagram.926795/

Instagram marketing seems to have a fair amount of investment in it. Generally, it looks like you need a tool like MassPlanner or FollowLiker, and you'll probably need some SIMs or some other way of performing Phone Verification (PVA = Phone Verified Account). Then, you obviously need a plan on how you're going to make money. Like I said, I know very little about Instagram marketing, just the absolute basics. There might, perhaps, be cheaper ways of starting out, but I don't know. There are far more experienced people on here, but at least you know what to look for now. Good luck!

If affiliate marketing is where i get commission when the product is sold, i want to look into that matters too. Do i need my own website to promote other people's product?

I will look at those threads you have mentioned in comment. i probably doesnt know well enough about Instagram than you but i feel i can make an IG account and start from there since creating a website is a bit hard for me.

So, pretty much anyway you slice it, you often need your own website. I think even the common tactic with Instagram marketing, which often uses OGAds typically requires a website (I think). Affiliate marketing is most successful with a website, but you can pull it off with an email list alone. Websites are really cheap, and it only takes a little while to learn how to put one up. WordPress makes it super easy. Basically, I think the bare minimum to making money online is the ability to create a website. If the expense of a website is too much, then you'll find that nearly all of the tools for making money online are too expensive. Websites are one of the cheapest parts of this business.
