Hi there,
I run a tech blog that currently gets around 500 hits/day. I've started to post regular with maybe 3-5 post per day at around 200-300 words which is typical for a technology news site.
I've also been building a social network on twitter and digg. I've noticed the traffic increasing and hopefully when the income starts to increase I can hire more people to write for the blog.
I've never owned a high traffic site before and was wondering what kind of traffic I should be aiming for or what kind of goal I should set myself? I see loads of tech blogs in google news and read from loads everyday... what kind of traffic do those sites get?
I know these are probably questions that can't really be answered but if anyone who has any experience in this field or owns a successful blog could have an input it would be great!
Best Regards,
Philip
