real emails go to spam

I am sending real emails (not junk, not spam) from my domain. I am not mass mailing, maybe 10 emails a day. But the problem is, my emails are ending up in people's spam folders. I believe the reason for this is that a while ago, I spammed my url using scrapebox and xrumer, not 100% sure this is the reason, just a guess. Is that possible? Can I undo the damage?

If you domain is seen a spammy then that might be a reason why.When i used to work for a ESP ( email service provider) we would sell the client a separate domain just for emailing to avoid either domain effecting each other.

So not sure to the answer but could you use mail chimp ?

Yeah, I would just use MailChimp. Their service is free unless you're sending out emails to a lot of subscribers, and they've rarely ever been sent to spam.

i think mail chimp is for mass emailing. I am not mass emailing, I am just sending emails to people that make inquiries. less than 10 people a day.

Get a new ip, preferabbly a dedicated one. If you're on cheap shared hosting favoured by blackhatters I think the spam box is the only place your emails will ever go. You could also look into setting up proper SPF records.

Just get google apps. It's free for 10 users and you can send 500 emails per day per account so 5000.

It's probably your ip/domain reputation. Even if you aren't on any of the public blacklists, you are probably on some internal TLD blacklists.
