I am not very much aware about the rules but I think that negative rep can be used if you do not like any post or reply. Now meathead is also a member of this forum (and then moderator), so he can also use the features provided he follows the rules.

Well if this is true than this is indeed a serious accusation against a moderator.
I will advise mods not to delete this thread and investigate this matter as such accusations do affect the trust of users towards the forum.
I personally do believe in impartiality of the mods here and would request them to investigate this instead of simply banning this user and deleting this thread.

In part i agree that we are able to listen to whoever or whatever we want and seek guidance off them and that is a freedom of choice. But meathead is well known and respected although im not sure about the neg rep fiasco whether that was done because you disagreed etc but meathead knows what he is talking about and you should take into account whatever he said now if your an experienced flipper and am saying why cant you be then you have every right to disagree with him but it all depends on how you approach him or others over why you disagree im not sure what the exact situation is but all im saying is you have the right to disagree with valid points and shouldnt be neg repped on that basis and on the other hand meatheads knowledge in flipping is worth listening to
