''Read more'' problem on Blogger

Soo I am trying to make my blog and really liked the ''Read more'' thingie i saw on other blogs and I decided to use it on my own blog. It seemed well as I was creating the posts but when i decided to categorize the posts using pages here came the problem. Although i make the pages, ''Read more is added and unfortunately the page stays as it is.
for example the page is:

Blah blah blah.......
"Read more button''
and when i press the button it stays like before without opening the post. is there a way to fix it without removing the ''Read more button''?

Its hard to say without a link to the page where the issue is happening. Are you sure the link in the button is correct? The read more link is essentially a link to another page. You said you had the read more set up and then changed something, are you sure you didn't forget to change the link on the button? Maybe try deleting it and start over?

You definitely forgot to change and update the link to point to new url.
