hhhmmmm ... about noobies not reading threads or FAQ and repeating the same questions... maybe there could be a content lock on certain thread so noobies are forced to read all the stickies and answer a 50 question 'open book' survey about them before they are allowed the rest of the content ... maybe we could incentivize it based on their score how much they can read/access until they qualify as 'BH Wannabee'

This is really a good stuff. i've tried little of these on my Flowers Lebanon website, and it really did make a difference in my search rank at alexa. i wonder how can one keep track and update of all the advices above, as it needs continuous update and monitoring to keep pushing your rank higher. i've started with ifloweryou that sells Flowers to Lebanon for Mother's day, Valentine's day, birthday flowers..etc. however, i reached a steady state where the increase is rank becomes very minimal. i'm really looking now for some ways to enhance this and i'd appreciate any help. does having a good website content matter?
