    Hey,

I have reached the minimum threshhold limit of $300. While entering by banking information for International wire transfer, I am stuck a bit.

I am asked to enter the IBAN no which I was told by someone on this forum that it is not applicable for indian banks. I am assuming that's right. Secondly, I am being asked for Swift Code. Can someone tell me the swift code. My branch address is as follows:

HDFC BANK LTD, Door No; 3-E-21-1809/8, M N Towers, Ground Floor,
    City: Mangalore - 575002
    State: Karnataka
    Country: INDIA

Also, there are few fields to enter correspondent bank information. DO I need to fill those details as well. It reads the following "Corresponding bank information is not required for all transfers. Unless you are specifically told by your financial institution to enter your corresponding bank information please leave this information blank"

Why don't you ask your bank? Critical info like that I ALWAYS go to the official source.

Oh boy... Different answers from different people on different forums and here as well... I am so confused. Actually, I had called the bank earlier twice and they told me the code is CHASUS33 (JP MORGAN CHASE BANK, NEW YORK) Upon further interrogation, it clearly appeared that these guys didn't knew much about international transfer proceedings. Hence I can't really trust those banking reps. I am still a little uncertain on what to enter because of diverse replies..but thanks very much to those who have replied so far..

What your bank has told you is their correspondent information, you need to fill in what i have posted above.

I can say that with confidence as i receive wire payments in india.

    Dont worry about
    HDFCINBBXXX
    HDFCINBB
As far as I know the xxx in the end is disregarded.

Thanks for the recommendation, but the Reserve Bank of India doesn't allow non-Indian customers to issue MasterCard cards and Visa cards to Indian residents. Payoneer DOES give you a direct bank transfer option to India in Rupees for a flat fee of $5.95. I don't think 2CheckOut offers this option, though.

That would be correct - the XXX is disregarded in this case. The code should be 8 or 11 digits, I think, so they usually add Xs to make up for the extra missing digits. You should be able to find your bank's code here: http://www.swift.com/bsl/facelets/bicsearch.faces

    Good luck!
