Can anyone tell me is I can directly hyperlink from youtube to amazon offer? I do not want to get banned and directing to a webpage and then onto amazon will mean losing traffic

    Thanks

Let me just say that you're mistaken about directing traffic to a website first. You might "lose" some traffic, but really what you're doing is funneling out the people who aren't interested in buying anyway. The people who click through to your website are more interested in the product and thus are more likely to buy which will result in a better conversion ratio when they finally click over to Amazon.

Direct linking to Amazon products from the Youtube page will get your account terminated. This is against Amazon TOS.

You may lose some traffic but this is the only safe way to do it. The key is to provide value on the webpage you are directing them to. Let them know why it will benefit them to visit that page. If you do it correctly, the loss in traffic won't matter. You will just be separating the serious buyers from the rest.
