Im promoting a weight loss product and am adding some articles to beef the site up.

If I later decide to make an authority site on the topic, can I de-index just these articles and re-use them on a new domain?

Indeed, as long as you take down the content from the previous site you'll be fine.

Yeah, if the content's yours you can basically direct it(301) anywhere without penalties.

Dont use noindex, just do a 301 redirect instead

Remove from index using GWT URL removal tool. It may take up to 48 hours.

Or simply remove pages, you should be fine too

301 redirect would help you in this situation. Just don't spam the article so you won't get penalty in the future if you decide to make an authority site.

To me, 301 is the best way to safe your content.
