Re-uploading YouTube videos after 2-3 years?

2-3 years ago my channel was demonetized and as I didn't have much experience with demonetization I deleted all the videos from the channel.

People have been asking me for them and I think that if I would upload them again after a few years I would gain millions of views.

The problem is the possible demonetization of the channel due to the duplication of the content.

Do you think that 2-3 years are enough for the algorithm to "forget" about the videos or are they saved for life?

You have to delete the previous vids first and then reupload them
Or create a new channel, change something in that videos and upload them
 
If you want to reupload the videos I suggest you create a new channel and upload the videos there. Edit the videos first before you reupload so that they won't be exactly the same as the videos you uploaded years ago.
 
Better to make a new channel and re-upload your video on that....you will not face copyright issues because those videos is your already

Thanks for the answers, but nobody has answered the main question which is how long youtube keeps old videos in their database?
 
Overthinking at its finest.

Do some quality work and if they weren't top videos, nothing would come out of couple videos anyways.

If you want to do multiple channels, you'll need to learn how to do multi accounting first.

Locally in my country they tell me that stuff that is uploaded on the internet never disappears.

For how long they keep database records of removed videos?

I would assume that months but it might be years. It can also vary by case.

The contents of the video stay the same, so nothing is going to change if you reupload it.

If you think what matters is video uniqueness, it's not exactly true from my experience. What matters are contents of the video.
 
Better, you should open a new fresh account to start again
 
The healthiest way is to run multiple accounts on trusted devices like iPhone and Mac Silicon.

Having multiple channels (properties) is always healthier than attaching all your wealth to one property.
