Here's the scenario:
It's morning time, I make a viral post on my fan page. It gets a lot of likes and shares throughout the day, but over time I'm receiving more and more traffic from re-shares and less from my own fans. My post will not be "fresh" anymore by the evening and FB algorithm displays it to fewer and fewer people.
SHOULD I RE-SHARE that viral post on my own fan page wall to bump the activity up again?
Some people will see me posting it twice, BUT I would also be reaching many more people who didn't see when I posted it at first. After re-sharing from my own fall I can just hide the new share from my fan page, but it will still appear in peoples news feeds.
I have this dilemma here, because when you make a new post, your older posts will get less attention, which is why I don't want to post some crap that will take attention away from the HOT POST, I want to milk it!
What do you suggest?
