Re-posting the same shorts with a different title = bad for algorithm?

Is it a good idea to re-post shorts that didn't do too well but with a better optimized title? Like, will youtube detect that it's the same video and shadowban me/drag my channel down?

I think it would be a good technique because subscribers don't really care that you re-upload shorts, as they're short, still fun to watch and quick to forget about.

And that way I can ensure I post more regularly, so I don't have to create videos all the time.

Anyone have experience with this? Is it a good idea? Should I delete the old short before I reupload?

Someone posted a channel a few weeks ago that posted the same video 1000+ times and 990 times it got 0-5 views, and 10 times it got 1,000 to 100,000 views. That channel was just for short-term success though, so I cannot comment on the long term. I don't think anyone really can confidently comment on long term because the shorts are pretty new and the algorithm is surely always changing.

Yeah, I mean, I clearly won't be reposing 1000+ times. My channel has only OC and I share it with friends and family, I don't want it to look like a spam fest. Reposting 10 times manually and still getting up to 100,000 views is nice though. I'll try reposting gently with a different title, and see if I get any results.

This task can be automated but you really need to strengthen your SEO and your tags !
 
hello i tried some time ago ... good initial momentum before a big setback. after about 6 months. I can not tell you more because some competitor has reported me and closed the channel (gambling).
 
Why post it again, change the title of firstly uploaded shorts only.
 
You should focus more on content that title and description.
