I'm back to BH after a few months break, I've been mostly a lurker ever since I joined, here is my original self introduction thread:

Like I mentioned in my previous thread, I work for a nonprofit for people with disabilities, but recently they had some international sponsorship so they are now able to afford paying us a small salary, that's why I had given up on IM.
We are planning a huge event for next year, but the costs are running up to $37K, which we don't have, we want to bring people with disabilities from every corner of the country to the capital and have them attend the event.
Now, I have tried a couple of methods nothing has worked, and I would really like to either sponsor or contribute with a significant amount of money to this event.
I know I'm pretty much asking to be spoonfed, but if there's someone willing to help me get in the right track, or help me stop making stupid mistakes, I would really appreciate it. I will keep reading the forums and taking action, but I would love all the extra help that I can get.
