.re domains and zonechecking??

So I purchased a .re domain the other day and I've been unable to get it set up to resolve to my server.

My registrar is telling me that the DNS records aren't properly set up and that .re's registry is really strict on their DNS policy.

So, when I plug in my regular nameservers, they think something is invalid.

Anyway, since you guys seem to have a lot more experience with domains than I do, maybe you'll make some sense out of the response they're sending me and can give me an idea of what to do.

I've sent this to my host, in hopes that they can fix it, but that's a shot in the dark.

I've got a reseller account so I have a lot of control over my server - is this something I can fix on my own?

Hmm am not sure that domains are stricted to some dns servers or name servers. Are you sure ur ns and dns works ?
 
Also i read it take up to 2 weeks for domain to get registed so maybe thats the case.
 
a few months ago i tried to get a .re domain. It was a pain in the ass, first of all the nameserver problem, then you need to have a business on the reunion island. long story short i got the domain and the site running and 1 month later they took it away from me, when they found out the "company name" i gave them was false lol.
 
I ended up needing to use a secondary nameserver advice as my host only has one IP for its nameservers.

Now hopefully they won't take my domain... That would royally suck...

Something similar happened here. I had problems with the nameservers which I tried to resolve for a week. After lots of messaging and translations, I worked out that the host is required to have each nameserver on a unique IP.. which is alien to me. So I gave up with the domain and gave it to a member last week here, only for him to find it had been blocked.

My advice: find something else.
