So after I bought a domain name GoDaddy said it was worth a little over $1000 but when I checked the value on estibot it said it was less than $100. :-( Why does that happen.
I was shocked at how high Go Daddy said it was but I still think the name has some value. It makes sense- it's only two words. It's a .com name The first word is a popular topic.
Specifically, don't trust GoDaddy. A lot of their services are suspect or inaccurate. You could ask around in a number of forums, for different IM people to give you an estimate as to what they would pay for it, then average out the quotes.
