Hey everyone, can i forward my site and have the backlinks redirect to the new domain?

yes, use 301 redirection to the new domain and the backlinks for the old domain will automatically count for the new one

yes, as stated above you can use a redirect - you can do this through modifying the htaccess file so that all requests coming to that domain are redirected to another link, or you can set the domain itself to redirect
