Re-create old website on dropped domain - legal question

I have bought and old expired domain and I would like to re-create old webpage from web archive. My question is if it is legal and what problems can be with it. I have read many times about this method on BHW but not one time about legal problems.

You also hear about people using copyrighted images on BHW while not hearing about the legality of it very often also, that doesn't make it any less illegal. Anyway, if you recreate the website based on what the archives have stored, you could run into some copyright issues if images are involved (it's unlikely, but it does happen). While this is true about text also, it's much less likely to happen unless you plagiarise an author's entire article (this is what content spinning is for).

Yes, but I know that many people do it. And I am not sure if they are just copy and don't care about it as soon as the owner will email them (then remove content). Or maybe they just buy domains and host with fake details and paid with prepaid cards. Anyone would like to share their own experience?

If you have doubts, then just create a completely different website, theme it to something new but in the same niche.
