I'm sure it was 3 strikes for copywrite infringement. If you follow the bigger youtubers at all though you would see they get them all the time, youtubes automated system bans them then like a day later they are back

Come on guys, it's obvious it's just temporary. He's just way too big to be banned.

My guess is that someone bot flagged his videos to death to trigger the automatic ban. The strange thing is that they don't have in place restriction for automatic ban for huge partner like him, maybe is a bug of the new interface?
