I don't want to do anything with blackhat methods, and I am hoping to do this for free (whether it be me do all the work, researching etc or using a lot of websites) I dont really want to pay someone until my channel starts making income

I have 1/3rd of my watch hours complete, well past the subscriber milestone to do so as well. But I know if I get more views, more watch hours. I would say my content is ok, especially if it can get lots of views each video, then it will fill that watch hour need.

But my channel is full of random things from the past 2-3 years of experimenting. I need some advice.
Should I just private any video under a certain amount of views? Or could I make them try and get a comeback.

I really just need help with 3 things:
1. How can I get better with tags and stuff to get my videos to display on google or youtube search results better
2. How can I make thumbnails more "clickable" without it being clickbait-y? I like being authentic
3. How can I "revamp" my channel so it isn't dead/being skipped from the algorithm?
Optional 4: How can I do better research to help with 1 and to be able to do better?|

Some things such as websites, I use tunepocket to help with tags, and I use tubbuddy and vidiq to help with the rankings, but they dont seem to even do much. And I know google trends is a thing but Im not really looking for trends, I am looking for things to help boost my ratings when someone searches for my kind of topic, hopefully making it top of the list.

I've gotten my channel to a really good level, but in weird ways. I just really need help from someone or people who knows what they're doing because I just feel like my channel is in a weird zone.
I don't know if I can post my channel, but ill edit it out if I need to- https://www.youtube.com/Kxffie

1-Use Tubebuddy, less expensive than vidIq
2-Get better skills on photoshop, look how concurrent make thumb. I justci checked your channel, its non-attractive at all. You have to homogenized all these thumb. Its too bad because coding and your subjetcts are very good, but you need to change a lot of things in your approach.
I'm graphist if you need help DM
3-Let your videos on your channel, just have better thumb for these ones so your channel look more "pro" unless these vids dont match with your actual niche

Don't focus too much on SEO, its not magic, a lot of guys here talk about SEO without experiencing anything. SEO is important but your content, attractive title and thumb are the most important. A lot of videos came viral with absolute no hahstag. Welcome in the new algo of youtube
Dm me if you need more support

To make better thumbnails, use canva. Find tutorials on YouTube itself.

Canva is good but you are limited. You can't add HDR style, lights, glow effect, a lot of small things wich can tweak the brain and make thumb more clickable

I use both tubebuddy and vidiq
I've been testing thumbnail designs for awhile now, since really I can start getting paid to do so. I try and see what other thumbnails there are that I can relate my video to
For the SEO thing, its really just about being closer to the top when searched.
I do think I need more support, but Im not going to pay anything until youtube starts paying me. All I need to know is what kind of videos to post, and how to find those videos in my niche. I've tried looking at channels in my niche and trying to make those videos but they don't work much, so I am wondering if there is even a tool to help with that.
Thank you for your reply!

I agree, I have tried canva, I do not like it. I know how to use photoshop and such, I just need help with design. Canva is really good for beginners though, I just find it better to make the thumbnails in photoshop, especially with it having more tools
