Rath math or yoast SEO ?

I tried yoast. it's decent and helps me improve seo while writing the content. very helpful. i did not try rankmath yet

Rank Math is better than Yoast.

However, the fact that they keep your data is not funny. Just for that, I'd rather Yoast.

You really should consider SEOPress

Yoast had some problems but at least I know that its creator Joost de Valk is an SEO professional. So I know that I stay on top of the SEO game using their plugin. I think Rank Math is just copying Yoast features to keep up with it. Original is best.

You guys think the google May update-clusterfuck may have been related to the yoast update a few months before? Possible?

Should be a plus then, since Google is full of Indians too. Heck even Google's CEO is Indian.
I doubt that but the current indexing "bug" which google says it is fixed ( its not ) definitely didn't help

Nope, just google mythemeshop reviews - you'll get the answer!
No after-sale support for buyers. (will waste buyers time telling shits)
just google :)

Yoast is a company full of experts https://yoast.com/about-us/team/

Does rankmath ever revealed who is behind development or what sources they using to release proper updates! no-never.

Are they(rankmath) active on twitter ? Nope.

Shady - Shady!

RankMath is by people who are behind MTS (mythemeshop.com) themes. They have one of the top theme sellers. So don't call anyone shady if you do not know about them.

Between these two, def. Rank Math

If you want a great premium one: SEO Press

I find the best free one and lightweight one to be The SEO Framework though.

I happily use RankMath.
Yoast has messed with my rankings before due to changes on their end, and RankMath actually has much better features, particularly for woocommerce. You have to buy all sorts of Yoast addons to get the same functionality.

I did this review one year ago:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/review-yoast-seo-vs-rankmath.1140161/Which is slightly outdated nowadays but still serves to compare thoroughly both systems

There is a big praise about Rankmath, but I've found and posted in their support forum many caveats that Yoast solve.
For a simple use, Rankmath gives you more for less (still free, which is great)
But depending on the complexity of your site Rankmath lacks of compatibility with certain plugins. Although they have partnered with Elementor relatively recently, which adds up some extra point to them

For a simple site with not many plugins I will go definitely with Rankmath. In fact nowadays I'm using Rankmath in my biggest WP site (because is also using Elementor)

But still I have a ton of sites using Yoast, and I find less issues on average. In the past quarter I've submitted 4 bugs and only 1 have been solved out of 4 so far, which is very poor rate for such big plugin. Same scenarios with Yoast work flawlessly. In fact in one of the 4 bugs, they did not even recognize the issue (despite I posted the exact snippet of code that were underperforming) and they solved it after a couple of weeks.

As I said, there is too much praise for Rankmath and a lot of hate to Yoast because of a sudden unrank of images last year because of a major bug that simultaneously disrespected their community. But overall I feel that the balance is 50/50 now. My rule of thumb:

Elementor? Go with Rankmath
Gutenberg/Classic Editor? Go with Yoast
Other builders? Find out yourself

None of them, they are both shit and completely outdated. All people who say Yoast or Rank Math helped them rank would be shocked to know that actually Yoast did the opposite, but their content and links helped them rank and balance out all the damage those plugins do. If you don't believe me, that's fine - the more people use these plugins blindly, the more chances I have to beat down my competitors!

The two are good, but only by testing each would you know which is best for you or comfortable with

Rank Math all the way.

Yoast is totally trash.

I keep seeing this but whilst people are seeing it, i dont seem to see any traffic or screenshots of data that show this. Just a lot of people saying it's great and that yoast has gone to shit but no really in-depth data or analysis to show otherwise, so it's difficult to change, when I dont see this.

What in depth analysis? You think that you install an idiotic SEO plugin and all of a sudden you will get a ranking spike of 50+ positions? Over the last 2 years, Yoast fucked up twice, when they rolled out a version that managed to get your entire site deindexed.

"In depth data" my ass. Bunch of incompetent idiots that don't have any idea what they are doing.

And best shit was, that once they rolled out this screwed up update a few months ago, they said something along the lines of:

"Stop complaining about us fucking up your site and rather help us fix it!" - Absolute joke of a company and dev team.

I am not complaining, however, I have not seen enough evidence to suggest a switch. Don't get me wrong, I keep hearing about it but why so defensive ? I heard they fucked up too ie Yoast - That is why I created a thread. However, like a member on here who posted suggested, they have been around for years, so yes there maybe problems with the new updates but they have been around years and have a high chance to get it sorted out ? Right ?. Then what have I got to loose by asking ? I just wanted opinions and suggestions on the pros of switching to rank math
