so let's say, a Mashable article is 10 and a spun article is 1, then how much marks deserve your article on the scale 1 to 10. Do you just write to reach the word count or...?

I think it would be more interesting to see marks between 1 and 100 :)

ha ha, but seriously, I'd like to know so I can get better insight when it comes to associated content

I can rate my articles as 8. It is well written with no grammatical error but it still can improve.

I don't think it would be fair to ask people rate their writing skills. I remember an incident few years back wherein I was looking for bunch of writers. A writer approached me and said, "Sir, please hire me. I am a highly qualified writer". I promptly asked him, " Why do you think that I should hire you". He was quick to reply, "I am the best writer in the world, so you should without any doubt hire me". From that day I have stopped asking this question to candidates.

9 when I make them long.
6 when I make them only 600 words ( Have to leave important points and exceptions which attracts flamers )

heh well, this is a forum and if someone wants to participate in the thread, it's great. If one is answering already, it's supposed to be at least somewhat honest about it, it's forum anyways. I would lie if I have been saying like - I'm the best, because I'm not. I don't think I can write better than 7 due to my limited english, but still, I wanted to see if someone will say like - I write 4, and I still earn nice money :)

I write at a 7. I don't think internet copy needs to be more than that. I could write at a 9-10 but that would take more time, and I wouldn't be able to write as much.

the feedbacks that l've received from my buyers will let say that is 6 to 8 as rate.
