Rate the competition

Hey gang,

I'm thinking about starting up a website in a niche. Any thoughts on the competition? How long/how much effort (time+money) would it take to get me to #1?

As per MS SEO screen shot, the #7 spot seems to be a new site probably a micro niche? It is ranking with minimal backlinks and good on-site SEO so I would say you have good chance to reach first page. Make sure it is not a seasonal keyword and I hope you checked the exact search count not the broad/phrase.

Cyber, thank you. It is not seasonal, it is a micro niche. I always check the exact match.
