Rate of likes and time

Hi guys,

I have a question, when I post a picture it gets a lot of likes in 20 minutes then it doubles in 2h and finally triples after 24h. Is it something normal ? Because after 20 minutes, likes comes sooooooo slow compared to before 20 minutes. I guess it's because it's not at the top of people's page anymore but I would like to know if you're experiencing this too.
