I've done my share of researching. It seems offline website selling has a good deal of potential for short-term bank. In the past, cold calling got me a client. $100 for a site I made in a day. According to a related thread, creating and presenting the website for a company/business was very successful for him. He charged what an average developer would. His medium of contact was email. Mine was a combination of cold calling and walk-ins. I'm a lil impatient and more of a go getter. I'd prefer to get responses asap. Meeting in person or phone is more personal. Still, I have yet to go the email route. In a nutshell: I was gonna charge anywhere from $200-500, depends if I think they have the moolah. From here: I'm debating if I wanna sell a finished product or offer my services to a reliable client before I jump the gun. Now for the ole blackhat twist. I would falsely present myself as a rep from a trusted company. (google, yahoo, templatemonster, godaddy, yelp, etc) Offering a ridiculous deal to local businesses (or something ) for a limited time only. I only need to make 1-2k and that's it. I have another source of income I'm waiting on. How does that sound? How would you improve it?
