    Hey,
Launching a new project shortly, with an entirely non-competitive brand-able name (eg, Teazmoker - random combination mixture of 'tea' and 'smoker', as an example of similarity) and I'm wondering what the best method to ensure rapid indexing and top SERP position (#1) for the brandable keyword is?

There's literally no competition for the keyword but a few erroneous results, but we definitely don't want to be waiting for weeks after we launch to take the #1 spot.

    Any advice?
    JFoulds

PS: We of course own the EMD. I'm thinking press releases?

If you aren't going to do anything shady you may consider using Google Domains to buy the domain.

That's actually a good idea, but as I said we actually already own the EMD through a different registrar.

There's no competition because no one is searching for it. It's not enough to have the #1 position if you have 0 searches for it you may as well be on page 100. I get the distinct impression that you have a collection of buzz-words but don't really understand what they all mean, and what they mean together. Otherwise you would have known better than to only focus on how easy it is to rank for the #1 position for a keyword that no one is searching for. "press release" is meaningless, as there are thousands of services and 99% of them are irrelevant. I did a check of your history, and you did the same thing over whether or not Java will report your MAC Address and that was over a year ago. You were wrong then, too. Meaning you seem to have a pattern of establishing a series of incorrect premises and then put a lot of effort into making them equal something that will never happen.

If you have a product, and the product "sells itself" then sell it using shoe leather and other traditional marketing methods. The internet marketing aspect is important but secondary. No one buys a completely unknown product blindly without having some reason to do so, and usually the "some reason" is a human being salesman stuffing tea into a newfangled waterbong and smoking it in order to display how wonderful it is.

There's no SEO gimmickry that's going to make a product sell that isn't worth buying. I get the feeling you think that side-step that reality and sell your product by blackhat wizardry. That's never going to happen.

God damn did you get so irritated about being bent over before that you can't let this go?

It's a brandable name and it's going to be getting 500k-1M targeted UV on day 1 due to media buying, I'm looking to launch this service with a bang, hence why it's imperative to rank for 'BrandName' in #1, because there will be a large number of people searching for the brand name instead of just typing the brand name.com domain into their browser.

*Sigh*, I mean an actual legitimate press release. I've got some contacts who may be interested in running journalistic pieces on the website on launch day or perhaps just a day pre launch but I'm not sure if that will be enough to secure #1 within 24 hours.

As I said about 30 times in that thread, Javascript will not report your MAC address. That's absolutely correct and I have absolutely no interest in clarifying it any more. Perhaps it would be best for you to actually read posts you attempt to quote, or maybe realise that there is a difference between Javascript and Java if you're not aware.

I'm not an SEO consultant, I build and develop things that people actually use. I'm more than aware of how to create a marketable brand or service which adds legitimate value. I'm not talking about some bullshit thin affiliate website or even an 'authority website' with a large amount of original content, I'm talking about an actually developed website which offers a service (a la Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc).

This is an area where I have undoubtedly more experience than you, so I'd strongly suggest you refrain from lecturing me on my own thread before you get your ass handed to you.

You wrote a lot without understanding the OP. He wants to rank for his brand (which is a new word combination) so people can find his brand when they search for HIS brand.

I'm sure he plans to have a lot of people hearing about and searching for his brand after they launch.

Many thanks davain, I'm glad someone actually took the time to read the post rather than jumping to meaningless conclusions.

You got the "teasmokerz" name for Pinterest,Instagram,Twitter. Pinterest would be my favourite for throwing up the brand name and some related boards.Presuming you already have Facebook on the go.

Web 2.0s are always good. Tumblr and blogger are your priorities to start. I also like Bravesites.

You got a Youtube video up yet ? Get one made for $30 to $50 if not and cross post it on dailymotion and vimeo.

That should own the top ten if it is a non searched keyword.

If you have the EMD and there is no competition then you should rank pretty quickly.
Start Branded social accounts with all the major sites, link back to the site and start creating a buzz prior to launch.
Set up a coming soon/countdown page where people can leave their email for notification of launch.
Some high quality press releases and some social sharing might be enough.

    Home Page:
Use "Teazmoker Official Site" as title. G00gle consider this as typo on "Tea Smoke", which is not easy for ranking keyword. I think that you still use Teazmoker as anchor text on few backlinks to tell google that this is not a typo, but brand. Also you can create a page about what is Teazmoker and than link this page on the homepage.
