Ransomware and seed wallets

Was about to transfer some money to bitcoin like jaxx wallets till I read about ransomware...if a computer is infected with ransomware...cant the wallet just be restored on another computer with the seed words and pin?

yes wallets can be restored but if your infected the money will be stolen. use linux if you are worried you are infected
