As the thread title asks :) Google RankPay - they claim to do a service where if they dont rank you they dont charge you, no upfront fee. A quote of $250 a month for a very super competative keyword to be ranked 1- 3 in google - as with all things to good to be true it is often a scam, but! Just in case, anyone used them???

yes they charge you,if they move you in top 30 than they take an amount of money for that,i think from 250$/month for top 3 ....they take 50-100$/month for top 30.
Correct me if i`m not right:)

yes but! Ony if you move up from where you were at the start date, so i am currently with a massive keyword knocked back from page 2 to page 3 and it takes me HOURS to get any moves, often days :) If they make it move up, then the fee is worth it - I dont think it sounds like a great deal for a new site, anyone can get to page 2 or 3 for even the most competative term but for those of us stuck, they claim to be able to move you up or not charge you!

Sorry that was not very clear, what I mean is that they claim that it will always start from your starting position on a keyword. If you rank #20 for example unless you are #19 or above they won?t bill you.

My word of advice, pay attention to the incoming backlinks.

Copy down what you had BEFORE starting your campaign, and then pay attention to new additions.

But....no direct experience of anyone using them? Still not convinced it is not a con.

They probably just BH the shit out of your site.

No "US" Based company can offer those prices for in-house workers. They are outsourcing and keeping the profits :)

I have used them for a super duper competitive keyword and it has passed like 6 months now and I'm still at 100+

Since I deal with SEO myself I could have done it personally however since they dont charge you upfront plus since they charged me $500 for that super duper competitive keyword I said why not

As far as I remember the contract is 6 months old meaning if in 6 months they haven't reached your objective or at least top 30 results then you can leave them without paying a dime

So you used them, but they didnt get anywhere? :) Thats not a great business model for them seeing as they are paid on results lol

I'm using them right now for one of my sites. It's been about 5 months and they've moved me from 100+ to the mid thirties for my keyword which is pretty competitive. With that said, I haven't seen an impressive amount of back links coming in and I've been bouncing around from 100+ back to the 30's again on a weekly basis.

When I first signed up with them they pretty much guaranteed me page 1 within 7 months but at the rate things are going I really don't think it's going to happen. It's not a bad deal if you have time to wait around but if you want relatively quick results I wouldn't use em.

So far I give my experience with them about a 6 out of 10- and unless they can get me to page one FAST I won't be signing up with them for another six months. I just don't have the time to play anymore "wait and see."

Just my two sense.

I've not heard good things from them. I've just been hearing things like people getting scammed or it never coming into the top ranks etc.

They will drop few legit links so it looks like they are doing great job, and then they will blast the hell out of you through 301 redirect. Easy, safe and simple :)

Yes, i've used them for a bunch of stuff. I definitely wouldnt call it a scam by any means. You don't pay if you dont rank, so you get what you pay for. to most people outside of SEO, they will happily pay to be on page 3.

Now having said that, they are not keeping up with the algo changes. I had to pull all my keywords out because they simply are doing old shit that doesnt work anymore. It USED to be one of the best things around, but sadly, i think those days are over.
