if you don't repeat your keyword multiple times in your article, it continue indicating you should improve it, gives you a red sign and consider it like something you need to fix

but we are not in 2016 anymore, if your keyword is as simples as "portable mixer" it's fine and you can use it multiple times without sound weird, but this kind of keyword is usually super competitive

if you are using a longtail keyword like "powerful rechargeable portable mixer with USB" you can't keep repeating this exact term three or four times in a small article, it will sound very weird

am i right? am i wrong? leave me your opinion below

true! Some of the tips they give are so dated, it's like they don't even care anymore :)

Yes you are correct. I believe that it will sound weird as well.

You still want to "stuff" a bit of keywords in your post because some classic text-based search algo like bm25 look for your keyword occurrences.
You don't have to spam the keywords like hell, but a few occurrences are quite helpful and it does not hurt either.

Write naturally and your keyword's appearance will be fine.
Just don't think even 0 appearance of the desired keyword is still fine in google's eyes, it is not.

Having your keywords in the title, in the middle of an 1000 word article is enough you need + the right schema markup for your single post (categorize them for better seo)

Putting your keyword sometimes over the page is helpful and understandable, but they really ask you to put it too many times, which can make your article sounds weird and repetitive

I think it's the rankmath plugin, there you can set a higher sitemap url limit like 30-40k instead of only 10.000 urls, when you exceed that url limit, then google not index your posts.
