Rankmath or yoast SEO plugin which performs better?

Yoast is a more popular plugin, but RankMath has more features and is more customizable

Not that Rank Math is bad (it is a great plugin with some features missing in the Yoast). But I being an old school, prefer Yoast. ;)

Yeah yoast seo is definitely better in my eyes as well.
 
use both and Rankmath is the one work for me. More features and have API index, I open a new website with 10 posts and they are indexed in 3 days. For now new posts need only an hour to be indexed. I once import demo layout that incluce demo contents to makeover my homepage, and it indexed 20 demo posts in just 1 hour lol, I didn't expect that and have to go to GSC to remove them.
 
I only have experience of using yoast with shopify but I'm really enjoying it been using it for about 3 months now very easy to use

Any queries I've had the support team are also very quick to reply and very helpful
 
Both slowed down my website so I coded it myself which keeps my pages super quick - I have hardly any plugins running to avoid bloat. Rankmath does some big backend database changes which I wasn't happy with. So based on that, if others are saying there's not much in it, I'd choose Yoast.
 
I only use yoast for sitemaps and editing meta title / description. I prefer yoast for that, as its more established and im less concerned that the updates in rankmath break something. Rankmath has so many features that I dont even know why I would need them.
