I've started experimenting with buying backlinks for my adult tube site.

So far I bought 2 backlinks from separate sellers on a different site, plus a 10 backlink package deal from a seller here.

I noticed that after the two first backlinks by google traffic started to go down a little, and about a week or two after the 10 link deal, my traffic tanked like 50% at least.

these were PBN backlinks with shitty generated contest, so I can't say I'm all that surprised. But I'm wondering if it's worth asking the sellers to remove those links, or disallowing them through google console.

sounds pretty solid.
BUT, don't you think you got +50% traffic not just because of the latest package you bought?
is there a chance those previous 2 packages were also good and made their impact a little bit later then you expected from them.

Don't disavow anything. Probably all the links you bought did the right stuff for your site

It is probably too soon to pass judgement. Furthermore we just had a major update.

If it really comes to it, definitely ask seller to remove them. Disavow is your last resort.

so it was 1 link from one site that looked decent and wasn't a pbn. 1 link from a more shady one. and 10 links from a pbn. so I doubt the first 2 would be so dramatic.
Give it some time
maybe it is too soon

I wonder if it is the update and not the backlinks now...

Always get sheet from the sellers and check them into ahrefs and other ranking trackers for an quite result tracking .

If you notice significant changes in your organic Google search results, you may have been affected by the spam update. Google did not specify whether this was spam in the form of links, content, or other forms. So, we can't say it happened because of the links or content.
