Hello all,
Couple of months ago I have restructured my permalinks from domain/blog/slug to domain/slug. While doing these changes I have added 301 redirects to the old URL.

All previous link building was done on old structure of permalinks. And I have lost all rankings in Google now. Under Links section of GSC I could see all my backlinks structures updated to new one, that shows Google has passed on backlinks to new structure but has not been ranking them.

What could be the reason and what I must do to regain the SERP?

How many days since permalink change, might give it some time.

To be honest, Google is having issues transferring rankings after redirect now. I noticed this especially for less traffic sites.

You will need to wait more time and hope that Google will correctly transfer the rank to these new links

It's been more than 3 months and I am down to single digit visits from random geo from 100+ visits from US alone.

Oh I experienced this before…and I think the ranking drop might be due to the restructuring. Ensure your 301 redirects are properly set up, and continue building new backlinks. Give it some time for Google to reindex and reassess your site

Site and pages are well indexed for latest permalinks. GSC at least shows it that way. I have also verified each 301 redirect. I am afraid to invest more on backlinks if Google has shadow banned or something.

Should I try creating new backlinks or it's waste
