Everyone has noticed that over the past few months it has been harder to get and/or maintain top rankings in Google. It has a lot of people frustrated and confused and some ready to quit:(
I have noticed that Bing and Yahoo give my sites ranking faster but as we all know, traffic there kind of sucks.
Has anyone thought of just concentrating on getting rankings in Bing and Yahoo and leaving Google alone? Money may slow down but slow money is better than no money.
Well, not leaving G totally alone. I think if you concentrate on good link building the Google rankings will come eventually. Its just been really slow and frustrating lately. Maybe we should concentrate on B & Y....

I have noticed that my good sites, with really valuable content but with very few off site seo are very well ranking on both Bing and Yahoo, but very bad at Google. When I start building links they are dropping very fast from the Bing and Yahoo but coming to the top of big G. So what's the conclusion- big G algo is not user orientated :d

well unfortunately bing and yahoo search volume is like 1/10 of google. maybe even lower.

Yes... I do the basic on page seo.. make the site fast and do the regular link building and don't care about how google ranks me.. I m focussing on bing (i personally feel bing traffic is better than yahoo when it comes to conversion),social networking sites mainly pinterest and finally stumble upon. it is working, whenever google ranks it is a big bonus, otherwise it is fine

I get better rankings for on-page optimized sites rather than backlinks on Bing. Quality of the traffic is better from Bing as the demographic is more mature, professional and tends to have kids, compared to the "info for free" crowd in G.

Google, aside, from latest drunkeness, focuses more on "who knows you" rather than "what kind of person are you". Sadly Bing is not having traffic if you needed it for life, but things are steadily changing.

It is good idea to stick to the basics and learn about other sources. Those are my 2 cents, other might/do follow different school of thought which is fine with me.

Think or swim with the fishes. ( u know like scool of fishes or sheep)
