I have a site that is ranked first overall for a short, long-tail keyword (key word + word) but is nowhere to be found in the 800+ visible results for the main keyword.
Is it possible to rank for a long-tail while also experiencing the google dance/sandbox for the primary keyword?
Otherwise, I have no idea why I'm not ranking. I should be beating plenty of the sites on the first page for that term.
