Rankings dropped after making these changes on website

So a sub-page on my website (which is profitable since it contains affiliate link) lost 1-3 positions on several keywords. Basically I made these two changes before:

1) Migrated the whole website to a new hosting (however, I migrated it 1:1 - it was the same website)

2) I set up blog as a homepage - before the homepage was a static page about my company to offer webdesign services and blog was a secondary page. Now I switched these two.

Do you suggest to wait until the changes settle a bit or should I undo the 2nd change?

Was there any downtime during the migration?

Is your new host slower?

Is it in a different physical location?

How big a content change was it for homepage?

Was there any in content links on the old homepage pointing to your subpages?

Are you sure there is no other issue on new host (like for example sometimes if you migrate files using she'll the htaccess file can get missed, and you might have had some redirects in there)?

a) There was a downtime cca 1-1,5 hour. I think Google even did not notice that

b) Host is approximately the same (I would say a better one).

c) Physical location is in the same country

d) Links were both on the old homepage and the new one (blogposts) and the internallink structure remains the same as before (except for switching the old HP for blog)

I crawled the website for 404 errors, but there are not any. And the subpage that lost positions was not changed at all.

Sometimes I lose rank temporarily when I re-do a site. How long has it been? Its taken weeks before for me.

I made the changes 2 days ago. Today I noticed the slight drop.

Yeah don't freak out quite yet then.

Relax you are fine, But don't change any url structure.
